As Director of Business Valuations Services, Corey’s focus is on providing valuation services, quantification of loss, litigation support and dispute resolution.
Corey has been involved over the past ten years in numerous valuation assignments, including assignments related to the allocation of purchase price differentials to identified intangible assets. He has also prepared reports quantifying economic loss and future and past loss of care for litigation related to damages. Many of these valuation and income reports have been qualified as expert reports for litigation purposes and Corey has been qualified as an expert witness.
In assisting clients with the sale or purchase of a business, Corey has prepared valuation analyses to determine the reasonability of pricing, assisted in the negotiations and the obtaining of financing, reviewed the relevant agreements and provided due diligence services after the closing date.
He has also been involved in succession planning advising on decisions such as transferring to the next generation, optimizing the current structure and operations and reorganization.
Corey has worked with the Niagara Regional Police in assisting with fraud investigations and has prepared court ready reports on which charges were based on.
Corey is extensively involved with:
